Volunteer Bell Ringer

Help make a lasting contribution to Cedar Valley area residents by volunteering to ring bells and raise funds.  Help spread Christmas cheer while accepting donations in our famous Red Kettles.  The money raised stays in our community supporting Salvation Army services, programs, and activities. Shifts are as little as 2 hours and as long as a whole day (great for groups!).

We will meet you at the location that you selected with you apron and kettle.  Please dress warmly and bring your Christmas cheer!

Bell RingerDriver: November 10 - December 23, multiple volunteers needed

This position includes driving bell-ringers to kettle locations and securing kettles to the stands.  During a shift change, you would pick a bell-ringer and drop off another bell ringer.

Shifts available: Morning (9 -10:30 am), Afternoon (2 -3:30 pm), and Evening (7 - 8:30 pm)

Drivers not needed Sundays or Thanksgiving.

 

Kettle Sorter: November 10 - December 23, multiple volunteers needed

Help sort kettles at the end of each bell ringing shift.  Count and organize the funds raised in the kettle.

Shifts available: Afternoon (3:30 - 5:00 pm) and Evening (8:00 - 9:30 pm)

Sorters not needed Sundays or Thanksgiving.

 

Toy Shop Distribution Personal Shoppers: December 13-14, multiple volunteeers needed

Help make a difference in the life of a child at Christmas. Assist clients with selecting gifts/ toys for their children.

Help clients to find the appropriate age related table for their child/children. Help the client select toys for their children and complete light paperwork.

Morning and afternoon shifts available.

 

Toy Shop Distribution Table Monitors: December 12-13, multiple volunteers needed

Restock and organize the table with gifts.

Morning and afternoon shifts available.

 

Toy Shop Courier: December 12-13, multiple volunteers needed

Help clients to their vehicles.  Load toys and food into client vehicles and return carts to Toy Shop.  This position requires repeatedly entering and exiting the building as well as lifting heavy items.
